Diane R. Scott

Described by artists she’s worked with as a “goal fairy,” Diane Scott uses the power of artists’ stories, artists community and "exponentialization" to take the magic out of the business of art for the next generation of artists. Passionate about the need to give undergraduate arts students the ability to create balanced and thriving lives that include enduring arts practices, Diane creates processes, systems, networks, and carefully curated experiences to help arts faculty employ these skills in their own practices and mentor them with their students.  As the founder and designer of the nationally recognized Artist INC artist professional development program, Diane brings her experience as a professor of arts management and a practitioner working directly with thousands of artists in the field into the undergraduate arts arena through her writing, research, speaking engagements, workshops, and curricular consulting.
